The Medical Board of Australia and AHPRA have issued a statement.

Board and AHPRA to work with Queensland Minister

The Medical Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) acknowledge the decisions made by members of the Queensland Board of the Medical Board of Australia, which are outlined in a statement they released today. 

AHPRA and the Medical Board of Australia will now work with the Queensland Health Minister Lawrence Springborg to put interim arrangements in place to deal with medical registration and notifications about medical practitioners in Queensland.
