Medical Board of Australia

Health, Performance and Conduct

One of the important functions of the Medical Board of Australia is to oversee the receipt, assessment and investigation of notifications about persons who:

  1. Are or were registered as medical practitioners under the National Law or a corresponding prior law
  2. Are registered medical students.

This section contains information on how the Board and AHPRA deal with notifications received about the conduct, performance or health of registered medical practitioners, and about the health of registered medical students.

How to Make a Notification

See What is a notification? for general information on how to make a notification.

Further Information on Notifications

For further information and publicly available outcomes of hearings see Past decisions on the AHPRA website.
