What do I need to do?

From January 2023, all AMC-accredited specialist medical colleges are CPD homes. Doctorportal Learning has also been accredited as a new CPD home.

All doctors doing CPD programs with colleges or Doctorportal Learning will be able to meet updated CPD requirements.

Doctors who do not have a CPD home in 2023 can keep doing the same type of CPD that they are currently doing. At the same time, keep an eye out for new, accredited CPD homes offering CPD programs relevant to your scope of practice.

Everyone will need a CPD home by 2024, when alternative CPD homes will be established.

Here is a quick guide to find out more about what you need to do in 2023.

  • By doing your college CPD program, you will be able to meet revised CPD requirements.

  • You don’t need to make a CPD home decision yet.
  • You can keep doing the self-directed CPD you’ve been doing, which meets the college requirements, join the college program or join an accredited CPD home.
