What is the purpose of the online education and assessment module for supervisors?

The purpose of the module is to ensure that supervisors understand their role and responsibilities as outlined in the Guidelines.

When do I need to complete the supervisor’s online education and assessment module?

You have one month to complete the module from when you are sent the module login details. Due to COVID-19 pressures on hospitals and medical practitioners, the Board is allowing supervisors three months to complete the module.

I am an experienced supervisor and have been supervising IMGs for years - do I still need to complete the supervisor’s online education and assessment module?

Yes, you must still complete the module. The purpose of the module is to ensure that supervisors understand their role and responsibilities as outlined in the Guidelines.

How can I access the supervisor’s online education and assessment module?

You will be emailed the login details for the module. You can access the module at any time via the online link.
